We are an organization established and maintained especially for you, our Member. The AWA has been in existence in Indonesia for over fifty years. First established in the mid-1950s, our membership remains strong in numbers.
Since then, the American Women’s Association of Indonesia has grown into a vibrant organization that connects more than 200 women with a supportive network of fellow expatriates, cultural integration, charitable works and of course, plenty of fun activities! We are proud to serve the expatriate community and we welcome newcomers of every nationality.

You are invited to our Newcomer's Coffee Morning once a month at 9:00am at the AWA Center. This is a great opportunity to meet other newcomers and to gain valuable information regarding relocating to Jakarta. Our friends at Colliers (formerly KOLL Real Estate) will share tips on hiring staff, finding a house, cleaning fruits and vegetables, keeping your family safe in Indonesia, and also information on the internet, phones and taxis, just to name a few topics. Did You Know? AWA's General Membership Meeting has a new name! Our monthly gathering and speaker presentation is now called AWA's Monthly Social & Shopping. We will have all the same features as before: great shopping, interesting speakers and presentations, and fun social networking. We look forward to seeing you at the next one, March 10th.
